Over and over in Scripture, our Lord calls His disciples to the ministry of prayer. Intercessory prayer is a petition offered to Go on behalf of someone in need. It is an unselfish action that grows out of a deep concern for another person or group. The Prayer Room is manned by volunteers who select a day and hour of each week to spend in prayer.

How to make a prayer request:

Prayers are requested by filling out a Prayer Request form, by telephone, via email, or by spoken request. Prayergrams expressing concern, encouragement, or thanksgiving are often sent by the Intercessors.

Easter Prayer Vigil:

Culminating the Lenten season each year, the Intercessory Prayer Ministry sponsors an Easter Prayer Vigil. For 36 continuous hours, participants honor their commitments to "watch and pray for one hour" at five beautifully decorated prayer stations in the Chapel.
